Elizabeth founded Bhava Communications in 2009 to bring brilliant communications pros together with the most promising up-and-coming and established tech companies. An award-winning operator with 20 years of experience in communications strategy and services on both the vendor and agency sides, she has a track record of building high-octane organizations that deliver standout messaging, positioning, marketing, public relations, social media, and design services to businesses. With an emphasis on data-related technologies, she has worked with enterprise and consumer technology companies, ecommerce businesses, nonprofit organizations, and companies across industries including food and hospitality, transportation, health and wellness, education and the arts.

Amber Winans
Managing Principal

Amber manages day-to-day operations at Bhava, where she provides strategic business and team leadership. Her contributions support the people-focused culture at Bhava, with emphasis on mentorship, career development and high-touch client relations. With more than 20 years in tech communications for B2B companies from startups to public corporations, Amber has deep experience in media and analyst relations, marketing, customer evangelist programs, media training, M&A communications, investor relations, crisis communications, channel PR and employee and C-suite communications. Known for standout PR programs, she has been recognized with a Gold Stevie Award and honored as a PR News “Top Women in PR.” Amber is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and also serves on the Widener University Communications Advisory Board. Prior to Bhava, Amber was the director of corporate communications at Quest Software, where she led the company’s global public relations, investor relations and emarketing teams. She started her tech career at VERITAS.

Pamela Njissang
Managing Director

Pamela has 20 years of experience executing and leading public relations programs for B2B companies, with an emphasis in emerging technologies and initiatives. Her deep understanding of the technology industry—including cloud and distributed systems, SaaS and enterprise platforms, software-defined storage, data analytics, streaming video, telecoms, broadband and mobile/wireless sectors—has been instrumental in shaping award-winning campaigns to raise marketplace awareness and drive thought leadership. She started her career at Lois Paul & Partners (a Fleishman-Hillard company) and held account management and senior leadership positions at WE (formerly known as Waggener Edstrom) and Upraise PR (formerly known as Stearns Johnson Communications).

Vice President

Andrew Smith is a Vice President at Bhava Communications, where he leads KPI-driven PR and marketing programs. Andrew provides day-to-day management of PR initiatives across accounts, including strategy and planning, media and analyst relations, social media, content creation and thought leadership. With a keen eye for exceptional content and strategy, Andrew constantly seeks out opportunities to infuse creativity and fresh thinking into his clients’ communications programs. Andrew has strong experience across B2B and B2C technology domains, with an emphasis in cybersecurity, data analytics, data privacy, DevOps, AI and machine learning, integration, future of transportation and more. He has secured on-message media placements in publications such as Bloomberg, CNBC, Forbes, Fortune, POLITICO, TechCrunch, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today and WIRED. Prior to Bhava, Andrew held management and account servicing roles at LEWIS Global Communications and SHIFT Communications.
